Google demonstrates the power of the upcoming HTML5 video standard with this video player, exactly the same as the regular Youtube one but generated entirely with HTML - no Flash necessary.
Not certain what browsers support this. The new Firefox doesn’t, Chromium doesn’t, Safari 4 does, but that’s only on the Mac. I heard Windows might not have it at all. Still satisfying to see...
