Stewart Brand talks about burying a mythical clock inside a mountain. The project is called Clock of the Long Now; it is a timepiece that will work for ten thousand years.
The clock features a different tone for each hour for ten thousand years. The tones for the clock were developed using generative music by Brian Eno.
