Mark my words, I shall never refer to this device by its given name. Let us never speak of it again.
It will always be the Apple Tablet to me.

"I got my fade — everybody had braids /
And now they switchin’ to fades /
    and I’m thinkin ‘bout braids."

This line from Nelly’s song, “Pimp Juice,” obviously comes to mind when thinking about the rumored Apple Tablet:

    1. Microsoft released what they called “Tablet PC” in 2001. It was a flop.
    2. In 2009, when rumors of a new Apple product started up again using the word “Slate”, Microsoft tried to capitalize on the hype by debuting an HP Slate at CES.
    3. With this effective misdirection, Apple will name their product the Apple Tablet.
