Come hang out with me, David Kaneda, and the Sencha crew in our Palo Alto offices tomorrow. We’ll be hacking on Sencha Touch from 1 to 5pm.
I wanted to look closely at the UI for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab, so I grabbed the movie file and these screens.
Good for Samsung. It seems as if 7″ is a great size for this kind of device so I think this is a very smart move. Let’s just hope they can sell enough before Apple ships their 7″ iPad with semi-Retina Display.

Luke Wroblewski, “Why Care About Touch Interfaces?”:
“Apple sold 1 million multitouch-enabled iPads in 28 days. That’s 35,700 per day. Last quarter (Q1 2010) they sold 97,000 multitouch-enabled iPhones per day. In February, 2010 about 60,000 multitouch-enabled Android phones were being sold per day. Add that up and you are looking at 192,700 touch-based devices making it into consumers hands per day.”
